Flip throw-in in the face

I remember when I was younger seeing at a World Cup a player doing a flip before a throw-in, the idea was the spring on the up of the flip would help the player throw the ball further, in this instant it threw the ball harder…..straight into a defenders face. Whammy.

That player would have been Hugo Sanchez for Mexico, he was famous for it. I think he played on quite late in his career too, either the 94 or 98 world cup… though he was it his best in 86.
