Lonely Leeds get our Support!

Leeds United have been left to fight their battle with the Football League alone after Barnsley rescinded their support.
The BBC has learnt that Tykes Chairman Gordon Shepherd has written to the League stating that he wanted no part of the legal battle following the deduction of 15 points from the Yorkshire outfit.
Mr Shepherd, who has been in and out of the club for some time due to illness is thought to have not fully understood the predicament which his club was in and immediately acted to repeal any support which may have previously been shown to Leeds United.
Leeds were docked 15 points for entering administration which is unquestionably harsh and one must ask whether if this had been any other club whether the sentence would have been so harsh!
Winning is Everything supports the Leeds United case and suggests that this is yet another example of the FA wielding the big stick whilst avoiding more pressing issues which are affecting the game.
